About Scott

Scott brings decades of experience to clients who desire tactical and analytical precision in storytelling, messaging, digital creative services, and presentation coaching. His business is built largely in service to non-profit organizations and municipalities to create dynamic, digital content and multi-level communications strategies. Scott spent 28 years in TV news telling stories as a news anchor, lead interviewer, political specialist and host of various public affairs shows and specials. His anchoring and reporting assignments led to travel across 4 continents including assignments in Beijing, China (2008 Olympics) and the Persian Gulf. He covered the presidential recount in Florida in 2000 and had the sobering experience of reporting from the Pentagon on 9/11. His broadcasting career spanned six state capital cities including Raleigh, Richmond, Phoenix, Atlanta, and Columbus. 

He concluded his broadcasting career in Columbus 2020 as anchor and host of WBNS 10TV’s weekly public affairs show, Face The State. He led the team to create the show’s brand, mission, and signature title. Scott was honored with more a dozen Emmy nominations and 7 Emmy Awards. He interviewed more than 10,000 people including newsmakers like President Jimmy Carter, Roman Catholic Cardinal Wilton Gregory, the legendary Billie Jean King and Civil Rights icon, Dr. Joseph Lowery.
